Biography

Simone De Feudis was born on July 4th, 1997. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree on 25th September 2019 and his Master’s Degree on 28th October 2021, both at Politecnico di Torino (Italy). The M.Sc. project investigated the feasibility of different rehabilitation interventions to be implemented in the Monte Mario tunnel (Italy) to cope with the heave of swelling clays.
Simone De Feudis is now accomplishing a Doctoral Program in Civil and Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Torino (Italy). The Ph.D. project is aimed at identifying methodologies to instrument existing tunnels for heat exchange taking advantage of rehabilitation works and disposal strategies. This will involve the construction of a full-scale experimental site in Italy.
