Biography

I obtained my Bachelor's degree and my Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino respectively in 2017 and 2019. During my Bachelor’s studies I did an internship for Vishay Semiconductor Italiana SpA, where I had the opportunity to work in their research laboratory ALPS. My Master Thesis title is "Design and Control of DC-DC Converter for Ultrafast Battery Charger for Electric Vehicles" in which I developed a circuit design methodology, and I designed an innovative dual-loop digitally implemented control for an LLC resonant converter. During the Master Thesis, I worked together with the interdepartmental research team of the Power Electronic Innovation Center.
Currently I am a PhD fellow in Electronic Engineering (36th PhD cycle 2020-2023) at Politecnico di Torino. My research activities include battery chargers, traction inverters and motor control. Specifically, my PhD thesis topic focuses on high efficiency multilevel converters using innovative technologies, such as Wide Band Gap (WBG) power devices.
