Biography
Her first experience in scientific research took place during her master’s thesis at the Clinical Movement Analysis Lab (DNS) of the University of Padua. The project focused on the kinematic analysis of upper limbs in patients with lymphedema, aiming to identify compensatory movement strategies compared to healthy individuals. Using a stereophotogrammetric system, the study collected quantitative data on kinematic parameters, contributing to a deeper understanding of motor impairments related to the pathology and providing valuable insights for improving rehabilitation therapies.
In March 2025, after earning her master’s degree, Sara began a Ph.D. at the Polytechnic University of Turin, focusing on the experimental characterization and design of next-generation cardiovascular devices.
