Biography

In 2022, I received an MSc in Computer Engineering, specializing in the cybersecurity track offered by the Polytechnic University of Turin. During my master’s studies, I had the opportunity to attend the Czech Technical University in Prague, where I strengthened my skills in machine learning and reverse engineering. Shortly after graduation, I began my PhD at DAUIN, continuing my thesis research with the TORSEC research group under the supervision of Prof. Cataldo Basile. My research focuses on developing methodologies and risk models to support the automation of the cyber risk assessment process, aiming to reduce the skills and resources companies need to understand their exposure to cyber threats. While initially focused on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), the research also explores the application of automated cyber risk assessment across diverse contexts, including containerized environments and critical infrastructures.
