Biography

M.Sc. in Structural Engineering and B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with a strong orientation toward structural design and project management. My expertise lies in designing superstructures in both steel and concrete for residential and industrial projects, prioritizing structural performance and seismic resilience. I am committed to integrating BIM’s collaborative work philosophy into project workflows to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Currently, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Structural and Earthquake Engineering, focusing on sustainable approaches to structural and energy retrofitting for aging building stocks, particularly those constructed in the post-WWII era. Given pressing challenges such as global warming, energy resource scarcity, and the seismicity of the Italian territory, my research emphasizes advanced technological solutions that align with updated regulatory standards. Specifically, I investigate the application of metaheuristic algorithms, machine learning, and artificial intelligence in monitoring, identification, and design processes within structural and earthquake engineering.
