Research interests
Biography
Guido Lombardi received the Laurea degree summa cum laude in telecommunications engineering from Univ of Florence Italy 1999 and the PhD degree at Polytechnic of Turin Italy 2004. In 2005 he joined as Assistant Professor the Dept of Electronics of Polytechnic of Turin, where he is now Full Professor. In 2003 he was RMTG jr award recipient at IEEE AP-S Symp and Visiting Researcher at Univ of Houston. In 2018 he received the London Math Society Research in Pairs grant as research visitor at Univ of Cambridge UK. His research interests comprise computational Science and Enginnering, wave propagation, diffraction, microwave components, metamaterials, microgrids. He was associate editor of IEEE Trans Ant Propagat where currently serves as Track Editor. He is associate editor of IEEE Access journal and IET Electronics Letters. He is an IEEE APS AdCom member. He reports his services: Publication Chair at ICEAA and IEEE-APWC conferences, AP-S TPC Vice-Chair at 2019 IEEE AP-S Symp, 2019 Programme Organizer at Newton Institute, Cambridge UK
