Responsible of vocational training programs, research projects, and overseas consultant for multi-bilateral and decentralized development assistance projects in Central and Sahelian Africa, Latin America and Caribbean, South East Asia, and Eastern Europe on the above mentioned topics. Co-director of the collection The Third World City for L’Harmattan, Turin (1998-…), director of SSPVS working papers (1996-03), of the CCTM on-line working papers (2003-…), secretary general of the journal Urban History for Franco Angeli, Milan (1990-…). Author of 17books, 25 articles, 45 chapters of books, 10 working papers and 18 technical papers.
