Research interests
Biography
Valentina Agostini is associate professor of Biomedical Engineering at the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Polytechnic of Turin and has extensive experience in the field of biomedical signal processing. Her current research interests include: neuroengineering, clinical motion analysis, acquisition and processing of EMG signal, study of motor control with applications in rehabilitation and sports, wearable sensors, stress assessment in the workplace. She is a member of the doctoral college in Biomedical Engineering and Medical-Surgical Sciences. She is author of more than 100 publications in high-impact international journals. She has coordinated and participated in national and international research projects for the evaluation of motion and motor control in patients suffering from neurological, neurodegenerative and orthopedic pathologies. Valentina Agostini is Associate Editor of scientific journals such as Scientific Reports, Frontiers in Sports and Active Living and Sensors.
