Biography

Natalia Voroshilova is an architect and researcher based in Zurich. She graduated with honors from the Politecnico di Milano, presenting a thesis on the planning history of post-war Milanese street-front gardens, supervised by Prof. Gaia Caramellino (Politecnico di Milano) and Prof. Christoph Gantenbein (ETH Zurich). Currently pursuing a PhD at the Politecnico di Torino, her research focuses on 20th-century middle-class housing in Switzerland.
Natalia has extensive teaching experience, having served as a teaching assistant in the design studio of Prof. Paolo Carpi at the Politecnico di Milano and led a workshop at the University of Stuttgart, organized by the Haus der Architektur Graz. She has lectured at the Accademia di Architettura di Mendrisio, the Irish Architecture Foundation, the Politecnico di Milano, and Milan Architecture Week.
Her research has been presented at seminars and conferences at ETH Zurich, TU Delft, FAUP Porto, ENSA Paris Val-de-Seine, ENSA Lyon, and the Politecnico di Torino. It has also been exhibited at the Biennale Svizzera del Territorio, Haus der Architektur Graz, and Belgrade Architecture Week. Her scholarly articles have been published in journals such as Sophia Journal (FAUP Porto) and GUD (Università di Genova).
