Research topics
- Study of multiphase flows, with heat and mass transfer, mainly by means of interface-resolved numerical simulations. Particular attention is paid to the modulation of turbulence in the presence of solid particles, sediments, bubbles, drops. The research also includes the development of efficient and accurate numerical algorithms for the study of the aforementioned multiphase flows
