Biography

Ali Yassine is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Control and Computer Engineering (DAUIN) at Politecnico di Torino, where he also earned a Master’s degree in Data Science and Engineering in 2024. He is a member of the DataBase and Data Mining Group (DBDMG) and is affiliated with the SmartData@PoliTO center, which focuses on Big Data technologies, Data Science, and Machine Learning.
His research, conducted in collaboration with Tierra S.p.A. to bridge academia and industry, focuses on the analysis of complex multivariate time series data with applications in vehicle telematics. His broader research interests include big data analytics, natural language processing (NLP), and large language models (LLMs).
