Biography
A significant part of the research activity will be carried out at the World Bank agency, the International Finance Corporation (IFC), headquartered in Washington, DC. In particular, this phase of the research will focus on analyzing the impact of environmental regulations on specific production sectors of interest to the IFC, with the aim of assessing their effects in terms of supply chain reorganization and the adaptation of the firms involved.
The research program also includes a visiting period at the University of Reading, where it will be possible to deepen the methodological and theoretical aspects of the project, as well as to engage with researchers working in the same areas of study.
Regarding the training plan, the courses undertaken are aimed at strengthening quantitative skills, with particular attention to applied econometrics. These courses provide essential tools for conducting the empirical analyses foreseen in the project and for the rigorous interpretation of the results.
The project will be developed under the supervision of the Supervisor, with whom the research milestones and any necessary revisions will be agreed upon.
