Biography

Vincenzo Petrolo, a graduate in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Torino, is currently a Ph.D. student in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. He earned a master's degree cum laude in Computer Engineering with a thesis on an innovative machine learning model for the generation of test patterns on digital circuits (ATPG). Additionally, he completed a master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois Chicago, where he served as a Research Assistant.
Vincenzo actively contributed to the Cognisense project for the Semiconductor Research Corporation (SRC), enhancing performance on Analog-Mixed Signal (AMS) circuit simulators through machine learning. His research interests encompass digital design of integrated systems, machine learning, and Electronic Design Automation (EDA).
