Biography

Filippo Valoriani obtained his bachelor’s degree at Polytechnic of Turin in 2019 in aerospace engineering and his master's degree in 2021 in aerospace engineering - aerostructures, with a thesis on shape sensing and monitoring of aerospace structures. After a period of work in an engineering consultancy company, he returned to the polytechnic in November 2022 to begin his PhD studies.
Currently, for more than a year, he has been engaged in the study and development of composite structures for hydrogen storage in collaboration with PUNCH. Working on the implementation of finite elements that allow the use of higher order 2D theories, such as Zig Zag, for these applications.
