Biography
Before my current position, I worked as research fellow since July 2021 to October 2021 at Politecnico di Torino: the topic was the modeling of hydrogen technologies within the power sector of macro-scale energy models.
My passion for math and physics and my sensitivity to sustainability issues, pushed me to start in 2015 the Energy Engineering BSc at Politecnico di Torino. In the next years my interest in climate change grew exponentially:
- I made a bibliographic thesis about the CCS as a solution for climate change mitigation, graduating in 2018.
- I founded with some friends the popular social page @believeinclimatechange, where we presented the main environmental issues in an easy and direct way.
- Solar thermal and photovoltaic systems at Politecnico di Torino.
- Wind energy at Danmarks Tekniske Universitet (DTU) during an Erasmus project.
- Energy communities (ECs) during a research thesis at Politecnico di Torino, in which I explored the possible value of the ECs internal flexibility.
Behind my professional and academic paths, lies a balanced, rational and curious guy:
- I prefer to not neglect my side activities and hobbies, such as calisthenics, outdoor sports, hiking and healthy cooking.
- I look at the world as objectively as possible and I am always open to focus on new attractive topics and activities.
