“Joint Research Centre - opportunities and supporting tools for researchers”

The Brussels Hub, in collaboration with the RIMIN Department, organizes an event on ‘Joint Research Centre - opportunities and supporting tools for researchers” with officials from the Joint Research Centre (JRC), the European Commission's science and knowledge service. Speakers will be:

• Luisa Marino and Matteo Fornara, Unit Member States Partnerships and International Relations: presentation of JRC, its role in the institutional context and the Ispra site
• Serenella Sala, Head of Unit Land Resources and Supply Chain Assessments: presentation of Unit Land Resources and Supply Chain Assessments activities, in particular of the RMIS platform that plays an important role in facilitating the availability, consistency and quality of knowledge and data for EU raw materials policies, such as the 2024 regulation on critical raw materials and the 2024 European Commission Communication on ‘Advanced Materials for Industrial Leadership’.
• Miguel Angel Serra Beltran and Giorgios Tsionis, Unit Scientific Development Programmes: presentation of the Open Access to Research Infrastructures programme and the Collaborative Doctoral Partnership programme
