Infoday PRIN 2022 call
The infoday is held in Italian by the Research Support Department to present the features of the PRIN 2022 call for proposals and to provide clarifications to Polito’s staff.
The PRIN 2022 programme funds two-year research projects on topics related to any research field within the three ERC macro-areas (PE, LS, SH), involving at least two research units belonging to two different public or private universities/research bodies supervised by the Ministry of University and Research.
The budget available for the PRIN 2022 call is €741,814,509.15, of which €222,544,352.75 is reserved for projects submitted by PIs who are under 40 years of age on 25 January 2022.
Maternity leave (18 months for each child), parental leave and other documented reasons (such as long-term illnesses of the PI, over 90 days) are exceptions to the age limits to access the quota reserved for PI under 40 years of age.
Each professor/researcher can be involved, whatever his/her role (PI, head of unit, participant), in only one proposal of this call.
The deadline to submit the applications is 31 March 2022 h 3pm.
The call and the annexes are available on the ministerial portal https://prin.miur.it/.
Please note that FAQs and a model for the budget are available on the Intranet of the Research Support Department.
The agenda is:
