After the application deadline, an Evaluation Committee (update) (composed of ASP Board members appointed by the Rector of Politecnico di Torino) evaluates all the applications received.

The Evaluation Committee verifies if the applicants meet the academic requirements based on the documents attached to their application forms. Applicants can be assigned up to a maximum of 40 points based on the following criteria:

  • Italian university graduates: a maximum of 40 points for the average grade of all Bachelor’s exams;

Applicants are required to attend the interview on the date, time and place established by the Evaluation Committee. Failure to attend the interview entails the exclusion of the applicant from the selection process.

The list of applicants admitted to the interview and all the necessary information about the interview will be published on the “ASP interview” page (available in this section) .

Before the interview, applicants are invited to take a non-compulsory psychometric test which aims exclusively to improve the educational activities offered to our students. The test score will not count towards the overall score of the final ranking list of the students admitted to Alta Scuola Politecnica.

At the end of the selection process, the list of admitted students will be published on the “Selection outcomes” (available in this section) no later than 2nd December 2022. Admission to the ASP programme is only valid for students enrolled in a PoliTo Master's degree programme for academic year 2022/23in first semester in compliance with the deadlines for enrolment in Master's degree programmes (see the Student Guide 2022/23).

ASP Diploma & Diploma Supplement

The Alta Scuola Politecnica (ASP), given the high academic value recognized to its program, will award students of all cycles the “ASP Diploma” approved jointly by the Politecnico di Milano and the Politecnico di Torino.

In addition, for each student graduating from the Alta Scuola Politecnica, the ASP career will be included in the Diploma Supplement (DS) which is the only official supplementary document recognized, nationally and internationally, at the end of the university course. The Diploma Supplement (DS) is a document that integrates the official qualification obtained at the end of a course of study at a university or higher education institution.

The DS describes the nature, level, context, content and status of the studies undertaken and completed by the student according to an 8-point standard model, developed on the initiative of the European Commission, the Council of Europe and UNESCO. It facilitates the knowledge and evaluation of new academic qualifications by employers and helps the academic and professional recognition of Italian qualifications abroad and the international free movement of graduates.

This certification is issued in a bilingual (Italian-English) edition and consists of about ten pages.

Therefore, ASP students at the end of the programme will receive both the “ASP Diploma” and the “Diploma Supplement” integrated with the ASP activities.

Since both universities are involved, it is recommended to the students to submit a thesis work under the supervision of a tutor from their own Politecnico and a supervisor from the partner Politecnico. Finally, the Thesis will be discussed in regular graduation sessions in students’ own university.
