The Ambassador of Argentina visits Politecnico

Earlier this morning, Rector Stefano Paolo Corgnati and Vice-Rector for International Affairs Alberto Sapora met with the Ambassador of Argentina in Italy, Marcelo Giusto, to renew the long-lasting institutional collaboration and forge new agreements that will strengthen the networking activities between the two countries, focusing on research and higher education.

“Italy and Argentina are bound by strong historical, scientific, and academic ties" comments Rector Corgnati. "And in this rectoral mandate, strongly oriented towards internationalization, we want to consolidate this strong connection on multiple levels, fostering the exchange of knowledge in the fields of education, research, and technology transfer, thanks to new agreements with Argentine universities, institutions, and businesses. In this context, collaboration with the Embassy of Argentina and with Ambassador Giusto is fundamental, with a view to finding sustainable solutions to the transitions of our era and to key sectors such as clean technologies and aerospace”.

“PoliTO international strategy begins a new chapter today, with the definition of networks and connections focused on internationalization strategies in Latin America, and in particular in Argentina,” emphasizes Vice-Rector Sapora. "Through the consolidation of existing relationships, with structured actions, new opportunities for academic collaboration in both student mobility and research will be developed in the coming months, starting from the province of Santa Fe".
