Biography

Rayna Razmilic holds a professional degree in architecture from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC) and a Masters in Journalism with Mention in Written Media from the same institution. She was the communications manager at the Chilean architecture firm ELEMENTAL between 2013 and 2014; and has participated in a wide range of projects with institutions such as the Chilean Architects’ Offices Association, the publishing house Ediciones ARQ, and the architecture collective GAC, among others. In 2016 she graduated from the Masters of Science in Critical, Curatorial, and Conceptual Practices in Architecture at Columbia University, New York, where she had the opportunity to collaborate in the Arthur Ross Architecture Gallery and The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Back in Chile, she taught at the Universidad San Sebastián and the UC Architecture School, where she also was the Head of Events and Public Programs between 2018 and 2025. As a writer, editor, curator, and educator, her work explores and challenges the different platforms for architectural discourse and production, with a special emphasis on biennials and their possibilities as multimedia devices. She is currently a PhD Student in Architecture. History and Project at Politecnico di Torino, Italy.
