Biography

In 2022, I received an MSc in Computer Engineering, specialising in the cybersecurity track offered by the Polytechnic University of Turin. During my master’s studies, I had the opportunity to attend the Czech Technical University in Prague, where I strengthened my skills in machine learning and reverse engineering. Shortly after graduation, I began my PhD at DAUIN, continuing my thesis research with the TORSEC research group under the supervision of Prof. Cataldo Basile. In 2025, I also had the opportunity to pursue my research in collaboration with the University of Murcia (Spain). My research focuses on developing methodologies and risk models to automate the cyber risk assessment process, reducing the skills and resources companies need to understand their exposure to cyber threats. While initially focused on Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs), the research also explores the application of automated cyber risk assessment across diverse contexts, including containerised environments and critical infrastructures, with a significant focus on the use of AI techniques for assessment purposes.
