Biography
Between 2004 and 2010, he served as a contract lecturer at this University, teaching Restorative Dentistry in the Postgraduate Program in Orthognathodontics and Masticatory Function.
From 2007 to 2010, he attended the Postgraduate School in Oral Surgery, obtaining the specialization with top marks. Since 2013, he has worked at the Oral Surgery Unit of the Dental School, first as a consultant and, since 2016, as a permanent hospital staff member.
His professional training has focused on the treatment of outpatients with severe systemic conditions (oncological, pre-/post-transplant, radiotherapy patients, and non-cooperative disabled individuals) and, more recently, on reconstructive surgery in patients with severe bone atrophy. Alongside his clinical work, he has also been actively involved in supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students in Oral Surgery during the preparation of their experimental theses.
Dr. Erovigni has authored numerous publications in international journals and contributed to several books.
He is a faculty member of the Master’s Program in Oral Surgery, and was a contract lecturer in Anatomy at the Degree Course in Dental Hygiene at the University of Turin (2019–2020). Since 2020, he has been teaching Oral Surgery in the Postgraduate Program in Pediatric Dentistry.
