Biography

Cristina Marullo (PhD) is Associate Professor of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at Politecnico di Torino (Italy), where she leads the research line on Open Innovation and Entrepreneurial Ecosystems at the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Centre (EIC). She is also Affiliate Professor at the Institute of Management of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa, Italy) and Visiting Professor at the Department of Public Administration, Korea University (Seoul, South Korea). She teaches in Master’s programs in Data Science & Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, and Management Engineering, as well as in doctoral programs in Management of Innovation, Sustainability and Healthcare (Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies) and in Management and Production Engineering (Politecnico di Torino). She is actively engaged in institutional roles supporting the student community, serving as academic coordinator for international mobility programs (double degree programs and special projects) within the College of Management and Production Engineering. She serves on the editorial boards of leading international journals such as Creativity and Innovation Management and BRQ Business Research Quarterly. She has participated in numerous national and international research projects funded by institutions such as the European Investment Bank, JRC IPTS (Seville), the European Commission, and the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research (MIUR). Her research focuses on economics of innovation, R&D and innovation management, and entrepreneurship.
