Biography

Catello Leonardo Matonti is a specialist in astrodynamics, distributed and very large space systems, trajectory optimization and solar sails, with industrial experience. He holds a Master’s degree in Space and Astronautical Engineering from the University of Rome La Sapienza and a diploma from the Sapienza's School for Advanced Studies (SSAS) in multidisciplinary studies. Catello Leonardo has worked on GNC for rendezvous, solar physics and data science during internships at ISAE-Supaero and INAF, and later as a systems engineering consultant at Capgemini Engineering. He is currently pursuing a PhD at Politecnico di Torino, focusing on distributed and very large space systems and space-based geoengineering applications for climate change mitigation and collaborating with leading institutions like DMI, KTH, UoN, TSTI, SDA Bocconi, UniPi.
