Biography

Cesare Gabriele Gaglio obtained a bachelor in Biomedical Engineering (Biomaterials) at Università degli Studi di Palermo in 2019. Following that, he obtained his master degree in Biomedical Engineering (Bionanotechnology) at Politecnico di Torino with a thesis titled "Design of nano-formulations to transport anti-cancer drugs". After one year of scholarship at PolitoBIOMed Lab he started his PhD in Bioengineering and Medical-Surgical Sciences at Politecnico di Torino (XXXIX Cycle), where he currently focuses on developing vascularized 3D tissue models, combining biomaterial design, tissue engineering, 3D bioprinting and microfluidics.
