Abstract

AVENUE is designed to address the needs of a rapidly evolving visual creative industry, which necessitates well-organized pan-European collaboration to ensure an innovative and agile vocational training sector capable of meeting changing challenges through skill and competence development. The project aims to secure the provision of high-quality skills and competences by setting up four national centers of vocational excellence, namely, in Animation, Games, VFX/VP, and XR, each with its own unique focus under the heading of Creative Visual Skills. The overall ambition of AVENUE is to systematically support development of a skilled, qualified, updated innovative workforce for the European creative visual industry. AVENUE objectives: To empower vocational training efforts in Europe by creating and combining four vocational training hubs in four countries, thereby delivering sufficient support to the European workforce. To support strong national knowledge and innovation hubs while enabling them to disseminate their specialized knowledge across the European continent. To support the skills ecosystems of the visual creative sector with the aim of fostering VET excellence, innovation, and inclusion in the sector. To foster employability and prepare young talents, students, trainers and workers in the creative visual industries for future challenges through flexible and modular learning processes for initial training of young people, as well as re-skilling and up-skilling the adult workforce. To foster professionals who can withstand the test of time, establish and develop domestic companies on their own, and adapt to changes and innovations in the artistic and visual fields.
