Abstract
In the global scenario, sustainable development requires a joint effort on several fronts: renewable sources, efficient energy use, zero emissions. Solar technology is one of the cornerstones of green technological progress thanks to the use of a practically inexhaustible and clean source. However, one of the most significant disadvantages of this resource concerns its availability and accessibility, the first being discontinuous over time and the second heavily dependent on the distribution and circulation of energy conversion technology. For these reasons, the enhancement of solar technology does not only go through photovoltaics, but also through the improvement of energy storage. The PEROVSKAP project fits into this context trying to find a solution that can address both issues. Using a new combination of materials, doped metal oxides nanoparticles and lead halide perovskite nanocrystals, the project will focus on developing a unique system capable of autonomously converting and storing solar energy. By investigating and optimizing both the structural and optoelectronic properties, PEROVSKAP wants to propose a new solid state solution, compact, stable and efficient that can favor a more effective exploitation of sunlight.
