Research fellow (borsista) in the research group of Prof. Laura Fabris at Politecnico di Torino, Department of Applied Science and Technology (DISAT). Holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the Regional University of Blumenau (FURB), Brazil, with a focus on the development and application of nanomaterials. Previous experience includes the synthesis and characterization of ZnO nanoparticles for the photocatalytic degradation of organic pollutants and ecotoxicological assessment using Vibrio fischeri bioassays. Currently involved in the project PHROGS (Plasmonic Hot Spot Modulation of Viral RNA Polymerase Activity Investigated via Surface-Enhanced Raman Spectroscopy), working on the synthesis and characterization of gold nanostars, their functionalization with enzymes, and application in biocatalytic processes. Research interests include nanomaterials synthesis, surface functionalization, nanobiotechnology, photocatalysis, ecotoxicology, and biomedical applications of plasmonic nanoparticles.
