Biografia

Zhifan Zhang received the Master degree in Electronic Engineering focusing on Radio Frequency System Design from Polytechnic University of Turin, Italy in 2022. During her master thesis, she has gravitated towards high-efficiency power amplifier design, exploring single-stage power amplifier trading-off efficiency and linearity over the FR1 5G bands. And her design is qualified as a finalist in the “High Efficiency Power Amplifier” Student Design Competition 2022 organized by the International Microwave Symposium. She won a research fellowship on the topic “5G RF power amplifier based on the Doherty technique” in Microwave and Optics Group at the Polytechnic University of Turin.

She is currently working towards the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering in Department of Electronic and Telecommunications in Polytechnic University of Turin. Her research interests are mainly on efficiency enhancement in deep power back-off with a focus on broadband operation and harmonic tuning.
