Biografia

Vittorio Turco received his Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Politecnico di Torino in 2020, followed by a Master’s degree in Mechatronic Engineering from the same institution in 2023. He is currently a Ph.D. student and researcher in the Department of Control and Computer Engineering (DAUIN) at the same institution. His research focuses on the safety and reliability of AI-based systems, with a particular interest in hardening AI hardware accelerators for high-performance and safety-critical applications, such as autonomous vehicles and robotics. By developing techniques to identify and mitigate hardware vulnerabilities, Vittorio aims to improve the resilience and reliability of AI systems in complex environments. His broader interests involve the integration of robust and safe AI technologies in sectors where safety and dependability are paramount.
