Biografia
Born on February 28, 1999, Giorgio Cora's formative years were characterized by an insatiable curiosity that kindled a profound fascination with electronic gadgets, laying the groundwork for a lifelong commitment to learning. This curiosity naturally guided him towards the field of electronic engineering, where Giorgio distinguished himself as a dedicated student at Politecnico di Torino, culminating in the successful attainment of his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in 2021 and 2023, respectively.
Throughout Giorgio's academic journey, a deep passion for electronic design and FPGA technology emerged. This enthusiasm peaked during his master's thesis project, which delved into the analysis of the reliability of RISC-V architectures—an endeavor that fueled his decision to pursue a Ph.D. program. This upcoming phase promises a deeper exploration of Giorgio's academic passions, with a specific focus on advancing knowledge in the dynamic field of electronic engineering. His research is particularly directed towards the development of reliable designs suitable for space applications, analysis of RISC-V architectures, and the exploration of reconfigurable HPC nodes.
Beyond the confines of academia, Giorgio is a multifaceted individual with a profound interest in basketball. Both a source of skill development and a competitive spirit, the court is where he finds inspiration and camaraderie. Off the court, Giorgio seeks equilibrium through outdoor adventures, with hiking serving as a serene escape and a source of balance in his multifaceted life.
