Biografia

Doga Gungor holds a master's degree in Engineering&Management (Sustainability Path) and is currently a member of the Management and Production Engineering Department. Her research focuses on behavioral and economic mechanisms accelerating/hindering sustainable market adoption. The work combines empirical analysis and behavioral insights to understand how individuals, firms, and policies shape the green transition.
Current research addresses five interconnected areas: (1) systematic review of behavioral and economic drivers of sustainable product adoption; (2) individual demand for green technologies using cross-country survey evidences; (3) AI recommendation systems' influence on sustainable consumer choices; (4) corporate strategic responses to regulatory and market pressures; (5) policy design for accelerating sustainable market diffusion.
The approach integrates econometric analysis, experimental design, and expert surveys to bridge consumer behavior, firm strategy, and macroeconomic transformation.
