Biography

Eleonora is a third-year Ph.D. student in Safe and Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence at Politecnico di Torino, Turin, Italy. Her research focuses on explainable AI, fairness, and robustness, with a particular emphasis on Trustworthy medical AI.
Her work aims to bridge the gap between AI performance and real-world reliability, ensuring that AI models are not only accurate but also transparent, fair, and safe for humans.
Eleonora’s research has been published at international conferences and in journals in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Medical Imaging. In 2025, she received the Best Paper Award at the Mama-Mia MICCAI Challenge.
