Abstract
The present project deals with the structural integrity of advanced materials for lightweight design subjected to fatigue loads. The objective is to define an innovative and standardized statistical methodology for reliably assessing the fatigue properties of advanced materials for lightweight design. The second objective is to develop a software for the automated statistical analysis of the fatigue data, providing the material properties needed for the simulations and for the design of components.
