Abstract
Si tratta di un progetto di sviluppo che ha come obiettivo la realizzazione prototipale dell'approccio Software Defined Networking (SDN) nella rete di accesso degli Internet Service Providers (ISP). Il Politecnico svolge le due seguenti attività, divise tra i due dipartimenti DET e DAUIN (con referente il prof. Fulvio Risso): • “SDN for Swarm Home”, che realizza un home-gateway per la rete di accesso, in grado di condividere la banda in upload tra vicini di casa (DET); • “Dynamic and Transparent SDN Services” realizza un nodo della rete in grado di erogare servizi (ad esempio, firewall, parental control) per gli utenti della rete di accesso (DAUIN).
