Abstract
PAL-HAND is a revolutionary hand rehabilitation device that uses multi-modal haptic feedback and advanced motion tracking to accelerate patient recovery, instead of traditional solutions. Unlike traditional methods, it provides personalized, engaging exercises within virtual reality environments, allowing for precise control of finger kinesthetic and vibro-tactile feed-back. This leads to faster recovery, improved patient motivation, and objective progress tracking, ultimately reducing healthcare costs and improving quality of life for patients with hand injuries or neurological conditions. This represents a significant advancement in rehabilitation technology with a large and growing market, with a CAGR of 8.5% and a market size of $1.2 billion in 2023. The team is composed of an experienced team of scientists from Politecnico di Torino (IT) that are working on it and supported by long established deeptech venture builder, Commercialization Reactor.
