Biography

I am an Energy and Nuclear Engineer. I have been involved in the 37th PhD cycle in Energetics at Politecnico di Torino since November 2021, supervised by Prof. Laura Savoldi and Prof. Anderson Rodrigo de Queiroz (NC State University). Since November 2024, I have been a research fellow at Università degli Studi di Torino, supervised by Prof. Valeria di Cosmo. Since March 2023, I have been affiliated with NC State University as a visiting scholar.
My research activity concerns the Energy System Optimization and Modeling field, mainly focusing on the development of the TEMOA modeling tool and of the TEMOA-Italy model instance. Within the collaborative environment of the MAHTEP Group, I contributed at developing advanced methodologies, including: dynamic GHGs accounting, sustainability assessment, energy storage capacity expansion, studying the economic implications of the energy transition, evaluating the consumption of critical raw materials in future scenarios and the associated supply risk.
