Biography

PhD student in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
MSc in Architecture for Sustainable Design in 2021 from Politecnico di Torino and BSc in Science of Architecture in 2017 from Politecnico di Milano.
MSc thesis focused on ultra-lightweight extrudable foamed concrete to apply in 3D Concrete Printing to produce innovative and energy-efficient building components.
PhD thesis focuses on the employment of multi-density foamed concrete to produce highly-optimized multi-functional engineered building components that can be manufactured by 3D Concrete Printing processes and can satisfy multiple performance requirements (high mechanical performance and excellent thermal insulation) in a single cementitious matrix element, thus avoiding the need for the assembly of several monofunctional materials.
