Biography

I'm born in Turin, on 9/7/1996, I graduated from the Scientific Liceo Augusto Monti in 2015, with a vote 88/100. In the same year, I started attending the university at the Polytechnic of Turin and in 2018 I took the three-year degree in Biomedical Engineering, a 103/110 rating. In the period 2017-2020, I worked part-time at the Politecnico di Torino, as an assistant librarian, assistant physical and chemical laboratory, tutor for students of Chemistry I, and employed in the computer science laboratory. In the years 2018-2020 I took the master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, orientation bionanotechnology with a vote 104/110, and I did my thesis partially abroad: 2 months in Iceland at the ICI, Innovation Center of Iceland. The subject of the master’s thesis was the study and characterization of a scaffold in Hydroxyapatite coated with chitosan and functionalized with polyphenols. In March 2021 I worked at Hoverstate and attended a Pega Academy. In the period May-October 2021, I worked at the laboratories of the DISAT of the Polytechnic of Turin with a fellowship, I dealt with the characterization of titanium samples, coated with chitosan and functionalized with polyphenols. In November 2021 I started my Ph.D. in Bioengineering and Medical Surgical Sciences at DISAT focusing on protein adsorption, in particular with bovine serum albumin and fibrinogen on titanium surfaces having surface modifications.
In my free time, I am passionate about the mountains, I am a sectional instructor at the Motti Mountaineering School in Turin and I am part of the chosen group of young talents called CAI Eagle Team.
