Mechanical behaviour of materials, such as polymers, hydrogels, and soft and hard tissue are the main research topics. Developing ad hoc characterization protocols is needed in this scenario. Furthermore, mathematical models and data analysis play a key role to interpret the mechanical behaviour of these materials, which often show a time-dependent response. Composites cement are also fascinating, due to their inhomogeneities at different scale-length levels.
