Biography

My main research topic is passive seismic monitoring of natural hazards, with a special focus on ambient seismic noise and microseismicity analyses for site stability assessment and monitoring. I am also focused on to the geophysical characterization of glacial/periglacial environments through active/passive seismic, electrical, and EM methods. I am collaborating on several national and international projects involving field and lab geophysical investigations for geoengineering, environmental engineering, geology, mining exploration and cultural heritage.
