Step 1. Evaluation of applicants’ qualifications
After the application deadline, the Selection Committee assesses all the applications and the attached documents.
The Selection Committee can assign a maximum of 90 points, according to the following criteria:
- maximum 40 points related to the CV: studies, publications, awards (max 35 points); work experiences and coherence with Specializing Master’s topic (maximum 5 points);
- maximum 30 points for education results: average grade; number of years to obtain the final degree;
- maximum 10 points for the motivation: motivation letter analysis (max 5 points) and number of years passed between the date of the MSc degree and the application to SEEDS programme (max 5 points);
- English language level (up to 10 points). See Art. 3 for reference. If none of the options applies, no points will be assigned to the candidate for the English language level.
The final score will be based on the above-mentioned criteria, up to a maximum of 90 points. Candidates who do not reach the minimum score of 40 points will be considered as “ineligible” and they will not be admitted to the second step of the selection process.
Step 2. Remote Interview
The Selection Committee interviews the applicants who passed the first step of the selection process.
Interviews aim to assess:
- the applicants’ motivation;
- any previous experience which may be relevant to the contents of the Specializing Master’s programme.
Interviews will take place soon after the deadline for application submission.
Please note that applicants who do not attend the interview are automatically excluded from the selection process.
The Selection Committee can assign a maximum of 10 points for the remote interview.
The overall score is the sum of the score obtained in the first and second steps of the selection process.
Selection outcomes
At the end of the selection process, a merit-ranking list will be published on this page
The ranking list will contain:
- the list of applicants admitted to the Specializing Master’s Programme;
- the list of applicants on the reserve list.
