The event entitled "Giving up the idea of home: ambivalent geographies, geopolitics and resisting capture in the cities of the Middle East" will be held on Thursday 28 March 2024.

The event is part of the Beyond Inhabitation Lab - Spring 2024 Seminar Series, the series of interventions and collective conversations organized by the Beyond Inhabitation Lab that explore how ideas of dwelling are reinvented through urban struggles in different geographical areas.

Speaker: Aya Nassar is a British Academy postdoctoral fellow in the University of Warwick where she conducts the research project "When the city stands still: Curfews and Urban Life in the Middle East".

The event will be held online from 4.30 pm to 7.00 pm
