Biography

I have an interdisciplinary background in anthropology and psychology, with research and teaching experience in medical and psychological anthropology. I completed my PhD at Oxford Brookes University with an ethnographic study on the impact of migration policies and citizenship trajectories on the mental health of migrants and refugees. Currently, my research focuses on the imaginaries of migration as part of the PASSI project, an action-research on educational mobility (University of Turin and Politecnico di Torino). I collaborate with the Frantz Fanon Center in Turin, where I engage in clinical work with immigrants and provide training on the relationship between health, contemporary migration patterns, and social exclusion.
