Abstract

1. To develop a new technology based on laser scribing of conductive tracks on carbon/polymer composites. 2. To produce composites suitable for functionalization by using Carbon Nanotubes (CNTs) and biochar as filler. Biochar is a by-product of biomass pyrolysis and it is available with standardized characteristics in great quantities at very low cost. 3. To design the electrical circuit for the component. 4. To investigate the processing parameters for laser irradiation and to optimize the content of carbon filler as well as its surface characteristics by means of chemical and thermal treatments.
