Professor Yuki Shirosaki visits Politecnico di Torino to Foster Research Collaboration between PoliTO and KYUTECH
On Friday, July 3, Professor Yuki Shirosaki from the Faculty of Engineering at the Kyushu Institute of Technology (KYUTECH) visited Politecnico di Torino as a guest of Professor Silvia Spriano, a member of the Japan Hub Board.
The visit stemmed from contacts established during a delegation visit from the Kyushu Institute of Technology to Politecnico di Torino last March, when several potential areas for collaboration between the two institutions were identified. During her visit, Professor Shirosaki was also welcomed by Professor Balestra, who already collaborates with KYUTECH, as well as by Professor Spriano's research group, comprising Professors Sara Ferraris, Enrica Vernè, and Cristina Balagna, together with PhD candidate Valentina Rigano, and by the administrative staff of the Japan Hub.
The meeting provided an important opportunity to present and discuss the respective research activities of the two institutions, laying the groundwork for the development of a future scientific collaboration between Politecnico di Torino and the Kyushu Institute of Technology.
