Funded PhD research in Gdansk

Main goal of this competition is to enable PhD students to complete a one-year internship on Gdańsk (Poland), provide financial support in the form of a scholarship, free accommodation and development of scientific research within the framework of the doctoral thesis with the help of an assigned scientific supervisor.
It is a great opportunity to expand scientific knowledge, make new contacts and gain international experience.
This project is realized by City of Gdańsk and Fahrenheit Universities. Internships take place in 3 biggest universities in Gdańsk: Gdańsk University of Technology, The Medical University of Gdańsk and University of Gdańsk.

Fahrenheit Universities offer (among others):
· Free accommodation,
· Scholarship at PLN 6,500 (net) per month,
· Reimbursement of travel costs up to PLN 6,500.

Important dates:
· Application deadline: June 15, 2026
· Results announcement: September 20, 2026
· Internship period: from January 1st, 2027 to December 31st, 2027
