Research in our lab focuses on environmental mechanisms occurring at the solid/water interface and in the engineering applications involving these phenomena, such as water separation using membranes, adsorption of particles and polymers on surfaces, advanced oxidation, and colloidal transport and stability. Our work is at the interface of several disciplines, including separation technology, materials science, colloid/surface science, site remediation, and environmental chemistry.
