  Stefano Molli

was born in Borgomanero in 1858 and died in Turin in 1917, Molli graduated in Engineering in 1882 at the Application School for Engineers of Turin. Later on he attended the Albertine Academy.
After returning from Rome, where he completed his cultural education, Molli was admitted in the bureau of the Count Ceppi.

Among his most important works we can remember the competition project for the Parliament palace and the Hospice Tapparelli d'Azeglio in Saluzzo, Ceriana palace and the Church "Cuore di Maria" in Turin.

In 1898 he was committed with the project and building of buildings within the Exhibition of Sacred Art.

In the field of private building, the following items are worth mentioning: the building for the Turinese Typographic Union, the re-building of Barengo castle, the burial place in Borgomanero.

Together with commendatore Salvadori, Molli studied the project for the new Politecnico. During the first world war, Molli founded the Aid Union for disabled ex-servicemen and chaired the constitution of the Boarding-School for re-habilitation.
