  Giuseppe Ciribini

architect was born in Milan on 20th January 1913 and died in Turin on 24th July 1990.

"Commendatore" of the Order of the merits for the Italian Republic, Ciribini was awarded with the golden medal granted to the School deserving members, for Culture and Art.

In 1948 Ciribini was appointed as a full professor of Constructive Elements. Later Ciribini was full professore of Built Environment and director of the division of Architectonic Designing.

Leaving from 1966 Ciribini taught Technology of Architecture.

As far as the scientific research in the field of the Technology of Architecture is concerned, Ciribini mainly looked after the aspects of building standardisation, modular co-ordination, building production, problems of built up environment, and the relationship between human sciences and the world of architecture.

Ciribini taught also out of Turin. In Italy at the faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Milano and at the University Institute of Architecture in Venice, and abroad at the Hochschule für Gestaltung of Ulm, at the Brasilian Universities of Sao Paolo and Porto Alegre and at the Algeri University.

On 11th September 1989 Ciribini was appointed as professor emeritus.
